What makes Spirit
Spirit performs the jailbreak to any device with FirmWare than 3.1.2 that is, those who have mistakenly gone to 3.1.3, your girlfriend or you updated it , as some commented on the forum, here is the solution. You must remember that Spirit does Unlock, ie does not release the terminal to work with any operator.

Basic Requirements
1. An iPhone / iPod / IPAD
2. VERY IMPORTANT: The device must be activated, this means that there may be either blocked or the iTunes symbol and nothing has to be located in the Springboard (screens of icons)
3. Any version of iTunes is valid for this JailBreak, including 9.1.1
4. It is also important to sync with iTunes before starting the JailBreak
Some potential problems
In the case of the jailbreak give c0000005 error, you must use the compatibility mode of Windows 98

Y para poder usarlo con cualquier operador si tienes actualizado a 3.1.3 con el boot 05.12.01, ¿no hay solucion? y si la hay que se debe hacer…

Que versión del firmware tienes actualmente instalada en tu iPhone 3GS?
Debes tener instalada la versión 3.1.3 para poder hacer el jailbreak con Spirit, recuerda que si tienes actualmente tu 3GS con la versión 3.1.2 debes primero actualizarlo a la 3.1.3 con iTunes, guardar el SHSH (recomendado) y luego pasarle Spirit. Pero recuerda también que tu iPhone tiene que estar activado y funcionando al 100 % antes de pasarle Spirit.

¿Qué iPhone tienes? ¿Qué versión del firmware tenías instalado? ¿Has restaurado a la versión 3.1.3 original de Apple sin nada más antes de aplicar el proceso de jailbreak con Spirit?

Hola Angel. Tengo un 3G actualizado a la 3.1.3 con baseband 05.12.01 desde la 3.1.2 anteriormente siempre he actualizado desde itunes (no queria meterle mano). Ahora me encuentro con este problema, he vueldo a restaurarlo, pero me he quedado sin wifi, encuentra las redes pero no llega a conectarse.

olaa aver estoi un poko liado y aver si me ayudan tng un iphone 3gs en la 3.1.3 baje spirit y ise el jalibreak correctamente y aora ke? cm instalo cidya e leio muxo sobre cidya pero n se ni dnd se descarga ni cm se instala ni cm iinstalar las aplicaciones bueno un saludo y gracias

Hola Miguel,
En teoria después de aplicar el jailbreak con Spirit ya te debe aparecer el icono de la aplicación Cydia.

Que tal una consulta, he leido el problema del wifi y es lo q mas me preocupa. Si me llegara a pasar eso al aplicarle spirit cual seria la solucion, yo tengo un iphone 3G con firmware 3.1.2 recien instalada pues me vino con el 3.0. Gracias de antemano
