The iPhone Dev-Team has just released a new version of Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 which can jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G.

This is a beta release of redsn0w for the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G at FW 4.1 or 4.0. It uses the same pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit that we’ve been using since the 2.x days. It does not include the SHAtter exploit developed by pod2g. Nothing new is revealed to Apple with this jailbreak.

The Windows version needs further testing, so for now this is available only for Mac OS X x86.

After a few appearances and a long wait, we finally have an easy way to install Flash on the iPhone. The method that we present to install Frash works for:

- Iphone 4

- IPhone 3G

- IPAD

For the 2G and 3G iphone is not feasible for the commitment in terms of CPU and ram represents so abstain if your case and do not want the device to suffer. Thanks to this “BETA”, we watch our flash device through the safari. When a site has flash, you will see that the web and appear to bear the words FLASH. By clicking on them, will play the SWF or FLV file in question.

Sn0wbreeze 1.8 has been released. This is by the  same developer who is behind other popular  iPhone jailbreak tools such as sn0wbreeze 1.6 and 1.7 for iOS 4, sn0wbreeze for iPhone 3.1.3 f0recast and BlackBreeze. Just like the PwnageTool for Mac, Sn0wbreeze 1.8 can jailbreak iPhone 3GS (old bootrom, and already pwned on iOS 4.x), iPod touch 2G (non MC  model) and iPod touch 3G on iOS 4.1 Beta. iPhone 3G users will have to using Redsn0w.

Given that the Jailbreak Spirit is the way out, is very important to have saved the file SHSH of our system, to be able to restore previous firmwares if Apple released new firmware for bugs arranged as to be a jailbreak “userland” the only way that Apple can strike at will improve through new firmware updates.
