The Dev-Team just published the newer version of Pwnage Tool, the 4.0 version, that allows us to do the jailbreak to our iPhone with the latest version of the iPhone OS 4 (iOS4). You can view the original dev-team post here.

The news is bad in 50%, Pwnage Tool is the tool that expected the iPhone 3GS and Mac Users to do the jailbreak to our device, but not all is so simple. Take care and read the notes and limitations of this version of Pwnage Tool before run it.

Finally we have the opportunity to try the Jailbreak for all, via Spirit. The truth is that with more problems than expected but we were able to verify its operation. It is true that we finally have a version untethered jailbreak to 3G iphone .

We put a screenshot of the Mac version because it is the most reliable has shown us. After several attempts with Windows, in some cases we had an error saying that we should update the version of iTunes to version 9, things we had done. When viewing the Dev Team forum, the explanation was … “Tested on another computer that has windows and I am sure you will …”.

Toni Nikkanen had run a 10.3 version of Mac OS X in a Nokia N900. Is not really fast but it is the first time that anyone runs an apple SO in a smartphone. Anyway it is more like a Tablet Mac than the iPad.

If you’re one of those que usually use a dictionary to understand some English words, or to search for synonyms, this post is for you.

As all of you may know, Mac OS X has a built-in Dictionary application that enables to search by default at the “New Oxfort American Dictionary”. As this app is embedded in the system, you can always right-click on any text in any app so you can access to the Dictionary. Moreover, the Dictionary application lets you search in a “Thesaurus” (mainly for search synonyms), in the ”Wikipedia” and in the “Apple Dictionary”.
