The iPhone Dev Team has just released a near final version of Redsn0w 0.9.5 for both Windows and Mac. This beta release, like all the previous ones is meant for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G only, running iOS 4 (formerly iPhone OS 4). Apart from multitasking and wallpapers support on iOS 4.0 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, this version also brings support to enable battery percentage which otherwise is disabled by Apple.
The latest redsn0w beta lets you individually select whether multitasking and homescreen wallpaper are enabled. It also adds battery percentage and verbose boot mode options. (Verbose boot shows you the kernel messages during boot)

As we read in iClarified a developer is creating an application that allows the springboard to move vertically.
Although we have all gotten used to move the pages of the Springboard (iPhone Desktop OS) to the side, to go over application icons showing that we have installed horizontally, it is curious. As mentioned, not yet published, but this video has appeared a new hack that allows icons also move vertically, to have so many more applications for space.
Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 V1.5 has been released which adds support for iPod touch 2G (older non-MC model). For those of you who don’t know, Sn0wbreeze is a jailbreaking tool like PwnageTool for iPhone and iPod touch which can be used to create custom .ipsw files. But unlike the PwnageTool, Sn0wbreeze is fully compatible to work with Windows machines.
Instructions for jailbreaking using sn0wbreeze V1.5 are exactly similar to the last release. Follow the complete step by step guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone and iPod touch using sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 V1.5. Once you are done with jailbreak, you can then unlock your iPhone 3G and 3GS using ultrasn0w or blacksn0w.
The new firmware 3.1.3 (7E18) that Apple has recently released and has jailbreak on the iPhone 2G and iPod Touch 1G (only for now) . The iPhone Dev Team has announced that the latest version 0.9 can do Redsn0w jailbreak the new firmware directly without any changes.
They have to change slightly the code for the second generation iPod Touch, and as for the iPhone 3G / 3GS are still proving what can be done, but it is hoped that no problems since, this time, Apple has not made much changes. Again, only works with iPhone 2G (GSM) first generation, not the 3G or 3GS. If you do, then just install Bootneuter to release again. If you update a 3G / 3GS, you will lose the jailbreak (for now) and the release of the SIM (probably much longer).
Then you show a video of how you can convert your iphone a ipad. As we read in the blogosphere, the latest Apple product has been presented just a few days ago and has already received such kind comments, and criticism, the fact is that regardless of everything, has caused quite a stir. So much so that users of an iPhone jailbreak implemented, may make your iPhone look like a “mini iPad” in regard to the graphical interface, where and when you have the jailbreak made the device.
Rory Piper has uploaded a theme to Cydia that will make your phone look like an iPad. Now if you really want your iPhone look like an iPad, you must follow certain steps shown in the video that accompanies these lines. You’ll get the same screen lock and the same image of the springboard that we saw in the keynote, in addition, instead of you see the logo of your operator, you can change the word iPad.
