The iPhone Dev-Team has just released a new version of Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 which can jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G.
This is a beta release of redsn0w for the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G at FW 4.1 or 4.0. It uses the same pwnage2 DFU-mode exploit that we’ve been using since the 2.x days. It does not include the SHAtter exploit developed by pod2g. Nothing new is revealed to Apple with this jailbreak.
The Windows version needs further testing, so for now this is available only for Mac OS X x86.

Has finally arrived, but was soon to finally have it and … work! 2.0 The comex jailbreakme et al has landed.
Allows jailbreak for iphone 4, iphone 3G, old and new bootrom and iphone 3G.
Last night in blueplastic provide it on a new iPhone 3G 16gb with bootroom and works like a charm. The only “catch” is that the web is a bit saturated, so you must be patient.
To make the jailbrek, only have to enter jailbreakme.com from the iPhone and to slide the unlock button, like that of the home page of our terminal block as shown in the image.

Apple has released new firmware 4.0.1 for iPhone , the only thing it does is change the formula that calculates the coverage so this is more successful than before, and height changes the first three bars that are a bit higher and therefore easier to see.
You will see in your iTunes now available for download . Although the 4.1 Beta is now available for developers, this minor revision is recommended for you to have a iphone 4.

The Dev-Team just published the newer version of Pwnage Tool, the 4.0 version, that allows us to do the jailbreak to our iPhone with the latest version of the iPhone OS 4 (iOS4). You can view the original dev-team post here.
The news is bad in 50%, Pwnage Tool is the tool that expected the iPhone 3GS and Mac Users to do the jailbreak to our device, but not all is so simple. Take care and read the notes and limitations of this version of Pwnage Tool before run it.
