The iPhone Dev Team has just released a near final version of Redsn0w 0.9.5 for both Windows and Mac. This beta release, like all the previous ones is meant for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G only, running iOS 4 (formerly iPhone OS 4). Apart from multitasking and wallpapers support on iOS 4.0 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, this version also brings support to enable battery percentage which otherwise is disabled by Apple.

The latest redsn0w beta lets you individually select whether multitasking and homescreen wallpaper are enabled. It also adds battery percentage and verbose boot mode options. (Verbose boot shows you the kernel messages during boot)

t was slow but we already have here, the iPhone OS 4 is now called IOS now 4

When the first iPhone was presented the adapted version of Mac OS X under which they worked was called iPhone OS in a tacit but rather began to emerge as new devices like the iPod touch, or more recently the IPAD, such names are not did nothing but lead to some confusion. How could it be that the IPAD worked with the iPhone OS? So the debate is now closed to all use the IOS, an unoriginal name but no less effective than goes to prove something we already knew: the i is more than one voice for Apple.

Hi friends, let’s take a look at this information received from IGN.com …

Street Fighter IV… on the iPhone? Capcom is going for it this March, bringing the acclaimed fighter to Apple’s handhelds. But this is no quickie, banged-out port. Capcom has taken months to come up with suitable controls for a platform with no physical buttons, employing a virtual pad and move buttons to recreate the arcade stick right on the touchscreen. After all, without great controls, what’s the point?

Capcom is not accepting any loss of the console game’s beloved art direction in the iPhone edition. It has taken assets straight from the current-gen code, so the new art style that won universal accolades is faithfully recreated on the iPhone’s smaller, but crisp screen. In our shots of Ken and Ryu battling it out, you can see the fidelity to the console version at play. These are the same models, just slightly scaled down – but with minimal loss of detail or color.
