Has finally arrived, but was soon to finally have it and … work! 2.0 The comex jailbreakme et al has landed.

Allows jailbreak for iphone 4, iphone 3G, old and new bootrom and iphone 3G.

Last night in blueplastic provide it on a new iPhone 3G 16gb with bootroom and works like a charm. The only “catch” is that the web is a bit saturated, so you must be patient.

To make the jailbrek, only have to enter jailbreakme.com from the iPhone and to slide the unlock button, like that of the home page of our terminal block as shown in the image.

The iPhone Dev Team has just released a near final version of Redsn0w 0.9.5 for both Windows and Mac. This beta release, like all the previous ones is meant for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G only, running iOS 4 (formerly iPhone OS 4). Apart from multitasking and wallpapers support on iOS 4.0 on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G, this version also brings support to enable battery percentage which otherwise is disabled by Apple.

The latest redsn0w beta lets you individually select whether multitasking and homescreen wallpaper are enabled. It also adds battery percentage and verbose boot mode options. (Verbose boot shows you the kernel messages during boot)

For all that do not know what is a Gold Master version of Apple Firmware, we explain:

A Gold Master version is the equivalent to the release candidate version of the firmware, in other words, the newest and definitive beta version of the firmware. Probably even become the final version as is currently the Gold Master.

For restore this version of the firmware you need iTunes 9.2 on Mac, follow you can find the download link also for this newer beta version of iTunes.

Among the inevitable comparisons between the Nexus One and the iphone , one of the places where winning Nexus were always left no doubt their “ animated backgrounds” or live wallpapers . While it is true that few users use them, since they eat the battery so incredible, especially the funds that such update your position on Google Maps, certainly spectacular but impractical for reasons of energy consumption.

As we read in Applesfera Apple has finally decided to allow other companies to design and produce adapters to connect the iPhone and iPod touch devices with outputs type DB9 and RJ11 .

In principle, the adapter would look like any other adapter from Apple, with a 30-pin male connector for the dock connector and a female elected at the other end to decide according to need.
