Recently a new version of installous (3.0) has released via Cydia, and comes with a renewed user-interface.

For the people that don’t know installous, and don’t know how it works, here a little explanation:
- Installous allows you to install applications in your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad without iTunes.
- Combined with AppSync also allows you to sincronize your downloaded ipa with your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad.
- Installous allows you to install the applications without pay for them.

Important: It’s a program that promotes piracy. Use always at your own risk.

The application known as Install0us, has been updated to 2.5. Now is called Install0us. (take care that there is a zero and not an o in the name, look at the post title)

This application, as discussed in this article allows us to access and download applications and install them without problems. It’s like our second app store, with the files “unofficial”, ie files. IPA, ready for search and direct installation.

We return after a few days without writing anything, to give a little ‘tip’ or tricks for those using Installous.

Have you ever wondered, where are ipa downloaded from Installous stored? I do. Specifically already several days ago that I did wonder but today I have not had the need to know.

So that we can serve know? Well, it’s quite simple, you can have two possible reasons:

• make a backup of what we got through Installous, or share some of our expensive (by occupying mb) of Installous with some friends.
• download ipa from our PC with your 20 mega-super-ADSL and then plug the iPhone by SCP (ssh powered).
