Last week I attended the launch of the new package at Barcelona Adobe CS5 version.

I must admit that normally I am very excited the new version of my tools work but this time I was too lazy to the subject, but everything changed.

I joined a month before the event without too many expectations to attend but finally the stars conspired to make it and the good company of Roger.

The experience was very interesting, despite last from 9-17, stopping to eat and not too many things gifts or snacks.

Then I will explain some developments, program by program, among which I found to be more interesting.

There were the usual sponsors of graphic design and flip a lot with the new Wacom Cintiq, built-in screen. The cursor will turn into a 3D representation of a brush with a new way of Photoshop CS5 providing the inclination of the brush.

A few months ago when I saw the new graphic image of the suite rather horrifies me, after some years with a very sharp image had opted to use effects, reflections, perspective that gave him a look as they did in the 90 … but luckily the icons are the “color therapy” as I like to say.

Dreamweaber CS5

During the initial speech spoke of HTML5 (I expected a little maliciously) and were very consistent. indicated their support for the HTML5 from the beginning but there were still a few years to optimize, equipment, browsers and code to replace the flash. I quote “HTML5 is not defined, still take 5 years to establish.” And since there are no closed Dreamweaber anti-CS5 and incorporates support for HTML5.

The other new highlight is the ability to review code and makes great firefox plugin “firebug”. This means you can review the code of a page by clicking on the parts that interest you. It also comes with a built-in code mode called Vivo / Live Code / Zip live from the same DW where you can view the code of any page (see screenshot).

Finally showed an online payment service that makes it easy for developers, see, test and compare your website in different browsers. Adobe lab brower is an online service that emulates ALL existing browsers all versions and updated daily for new browsers. First year free when you register your Adobe ID (no need to buy anything) and then to pay.

Flash CS5

Major news flash section correspond to improvement of work not so much new technology.
Finally we can edit the text in TLF way (text layout framework) is to work with the text as if in Illustrator or Indesign, slurs to me!

Novedad en los pinceles, el nuevo pincel tiene las características de utilizar colores mezclados y una fluidez líquida, combinando con una wacom deja unos resultados espectaculares, aparte de reconocer la inclinación del pincel. A los de Painter les debe hacer mucha gracia esto.

Indesign CS5

The new features in Indesign continue the trend of mixing capabilities, you can now make small flash animations to include in presentations designed in Indesign.

Improvements in working, such as the possibility of including fonts in a special folder “archive fonts and Indesign will recognize them without being installed in the system.

Greatly improved text editor indesign. Import, fit, resize images order very fast and easy.

Illustrator CS5

The other ovation of the day was carried by the “Paste Inside.” A great longing for Freehand users. How to work within an object can engage not only things but also can be painted inside and this also works with a live and editable text. The other missed Freehand was the multi page, and including the CS4 now improved access and use from a panel visible.

After Effects i Premiere CS5

For now I am no expert or user program creation and editing video but I would like to explain something new in After Effects that surprised me. It is the ability to create green screen Chroma from sequences shot with real substance, a kind of cut with photoshop but it works for all frames in the clip. Impressive.
